Advocacy –
Our “Legislative Day on the Hill” (AKA “Leg Day”) is coming up on March 21, 2018 in Sacramento. This year’s Leg Day will start with a cocktail reception with the Leg Aids on Tuesday, March 20th from 6-8pm. The next day, March 21st AM we will give a presentation on the “Leg Day” process and in the afternoon, we will tour the Capitol and visit with legislators. We will finish “Leg Day” with a Sidewalk CPR demonstration to educate the public on compression-only CPR. This event is an amazing opportunity to really go door-to-door to advocate for emergency nurses with your state legislative leaders. Registration is required by February 28th.
